There Birthday was very nice! Humble, no BIG spending but very pleasant! Dana & I stayed up late decorating last night. Harmony wanted a Diego cake (Diego-Dora the Explorer friend). Well by the time we got to the store the bakery was closed so knowing me... I got all the supplies so I could attempt to draw Diego on the girl cake (it was a disater but Harmony LOVED it)!! Dana baked them a cake each and we bought cup cakes for their class rooms. Since Joc & Harmony go to the same school that worked out. When they woke up the hall way & kitchen was decorated with balloons, and themes they chose.
At school they start off with chapel and they acknowledge any staff or students who are having birthdays and they give then a birthday hat and a cup cake with a candle and they loved it because they knew it was their turn to do it. Not to mention since it's our church's school a lot of the saints stay for chapel when we drop off our kids and some of us volunteer at least once a week. So when you go up there for your birthday, you can count on being asked what you want and many people love to go get it or pin money on you, they loved it!
Today Dana stayed all day and taught Math so she was able to party with them. After school I came up there and we went and got ice cream! It was about 74 degrees and very sunny so we dropped the top and went to the park for about a hour killing time until 5:30 Prayer started. After the prayer service Dana had choir rehearsal so Hadassah and I took Joc & Harmony Go-cart racing (we won!) and for pizza. They all passed out as we drove home and when we got home the saw that I redecorated their bedrooms and they saw all their gifts and now the are up and hype again. Harmony just yelled, "THIS IS THE BIRTHDAY WE EVER HAD!!!!" (THAT'S NO TYPO, THAT'S JUST HOW SHE SID IT) Well we all know what she mean and fir that I am grateful!!!!
